Job SummaryThe Estimated Annual Salary for this position is approximately $35,000 - $45,000 based on national averages and industry standards. As a Certified Fitness Trainer at Planet Fitness - KS/LA Sutherland Group, you will be responsible for running the PE@PF program, designing workout programs, and instructing members on equipment use. Key duties include creating bi-weekly exercise updates, meeting class requirements, and assisting with front desk activities.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including schedule creation.
  • Consult with members on fitness goals and instruct them on proper equipment use.
  • Create bi-weekly exercise updates consisting of various exercises.
  • Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
  • Assist in front desk related activities, including answering phones and checking members into the system.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Nationally Certified Training Certificate is required.
  • High School diploma/GED equivalent is required.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • A positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are necessary to interact positively with members and coworkers.
  • You should be able to listen empathetically and solve problems effectively.
  • Diplomacy in interactions is crucial, using appropriate behavior and language.
  • CPR/AED certification is preferred but not mandatory.
