Job Title: Avionics Systems Design Engineer Position in Fort Worth, TX

Salary: $40.00 to $75.00 per hour

Job Description: PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is a renowned company in the aerospace industry, seeking highly skilled professionals for an Avionics Systems Design Engineer position in Fort Worth, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced avionics systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of systems requirements and integrated validation/verification activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Additionally, you should have experience in developing or designing within an Avionics Environment, including experience with MBSE tools (e.g., EA Sparx, IBM Rhapsody, Magic Draw), CM tools (e.g., SVN, Clearcase, git, Dimensions), and engineering processes including requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements validation, requirements verification, integration, embedded software, electronic systems, FAA/EASA/NAA certification, and system safety. Experience with DO-297, DO-178, and/or DO-331 process assurance is a plus. Prior experience working on A653 partition-based operating system is also a plus.
