Job Description

Job Summary

Gregory Construction is seeking a highly skilled Survey Technician to join our team. As a Survey Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Layout and Surveying: Conduct field layouts and surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements and data collection.
  • Geospatial Data Management: Collect, analyze, and interpret geospatial data to support construction projects.
  • Field Operations: Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems, and oversee some subcontractor work activities as assigned.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Technical Skills: Possess skills for project layout using Topcon robotic total stations, Topcon base and Rover GPS systems, and Topcon MAGNET field and Topcon Pocket 3D software.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: Three (3) years related experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in Komatsu intelligent machine use and general computer operation is necessary.
  • Personal Qualities: Concentration, alertness, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
