ROLE SUMMARY:
This entry-level role involves conducting minor repairs on our fleet vehicles, assisting experienced technicians, and providing necessary logistical support as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out light mechanical and electrical repairs on company vehicles.
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns in the field as needed.
- Support the department with logistical tasks and assist senior mechanics.
- Operate company vehicles following established safety protocols.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly using the designated repair orders.
- Utilize the maintenance database to log all completed tasks and assignments.
- Participate in all mandatory training related to fleet operations.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Understand and adhere to information systems security responsibilities.
- Ensure vehicles are repaired accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adapt to changing departmental priorities effectively.
- Quickly diagnose and repair vehicles during roadside assistance situations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Ensure documentation is thorough and well-organized.
- Account for all parts and materials accurately.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and maintain professionalism with external contacts.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
