Job Summary

Aequor is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in the prevention, assessment, and intervention of communication disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prevention: Develop and implement evidence-based prevention approaches to prevent academic failure in students.
  • Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students with communication disorders and inform instruction and intervention.
  • Intervention: Provide individualized intervention to students with communication disorders, using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Program Design: Design and implement schoolwide programs that employ a continuum of service delivery models in the least restrictive environment for students with disabilities.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and intervention, and to evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state mandates, as well as local policies, in the performance of duties.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech language pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
