Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Anesthesiology Assistant (CAA) to join our Anesthesiology Department. The successful candidate will provide anesthesia care to cancer patients under the direct supervision of physician anesthesiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preoperative anesthetic evaluations and collaborate with anesthesiologists to formulate and implement anesthetic plans.
  • Provide anesthesia care to cancer patients, recognizing and treating cardiac arrhythmias and other life-threatening emergencies.
  • Order and administer pre-anesthetic medications, monitoring procedures, and other treatments as needed.
  • Communicate with referring physicians and participate in case review and risk management for the department.
  • Maintain accurate and complete anesthetic records, including timely completion of billing information.
Requirements
  • Master's degree required.
  • Training, experience, and education consistent with that received through the successful completion of an American Association of Nurse Anesthetists or Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants approved training program.
  • Active BLS and ACLS certification.
