Key Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including selecting, counting, compounding, packaging, and labeling medications.
- Process patient charges and credits accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of stock and supplies in the dispensing area and order replacements as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in accessing and viewing pertinent screens in pharmacy electronic information systems.
- Perform intra-departmental unit inspections monthly and remove expired medications.
- Work in multiple areas of the pharmacy to maintain competency and broaden skills.

Requirements:

- Six months of healthcare experience or graduation from an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technology diploma program within 30 days of hire.
- Registered Pharmacy Tech-NC within 90 days of hire.
- Cert Pharmacy Tech-National.
