Job Description

We're seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and implementing lean principles to continuously improve overall warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency and productivity, with customer satisfaction and compliance as the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, KPI processes, and shipping methods aligned with our transportation manager, Amazon requirements, and NetSuite Inventory Manager.
  • Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
  • Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by engaging with all employees.
  • Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock, such as packaging products.
  • Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment and certifications.
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve a high productivity rate in efficient, compliant processes.
  • Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
  • Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.
  • Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and receiving.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
  • Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four Year Degree in industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Seven or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly/salary employees in a high-volume atmosphere.
  • Experience working in high volume, pick, pack e-commerce, and fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures, policies, and safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
  • Must be KPI driven, good analytical, understand WMS systems, NetSuite a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent data entry and data processing skills.
