Job Summary

Oklahoma State University Medical Center is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • RRT license required.
  • 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with NICU experience preferred.
  • Ability to work nights, including every other weekend.
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 GWW.
Additional Information
  • Oklahoma State University Medical Center has a zero-fault attendance policy, which means that any missed scheduled shift – regardless of the reason – counts as unexcused.
  • Travelers must commit to going into the lab within 48-72 hours of signing.
