Electronics Sector Executive

We are seeking an accomplished Electronics Sector Executive to spearhead our regional sales efforts for FDH Electronics. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by crafting and executing strategic sales plans that capitalize on emerging opportunities across Eastern USA.
As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will work closely with colleagues from various departments to develop and implement initiatives that enhance market presence and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the electronic components industry, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers alike.
You will lead a team of 8 Business Development Managers (Field Sales) located in the Region and be accountable for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share across the region.
Your responsibilities will include generating business opportunities, determining the need for cross-division teaming and external strategic partner/alliances to gain business, increasing market share and retaining customers by leveraging FDH Electronic capabilities, leading a team of Business Development Managers, developing and executing sales strategies, building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients and suppliers, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, staying informed about industry trends and market dynamics, closing new business deals, protecting the organization's value, enhancing the organization's reputation, planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives, increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones, finding and developing new markets and improving sales, attending conferences and meetings, training personnel, planning your sales strategy, establishing and fostering relationships with customers, and reporting out to executive management on a regular basis.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree with a preferred major in Business or a related field, at least 10 years of experience in field sales within the Military Electronics Industry, 3-5 years of experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, IT fluency, ability to manage complex projects and multi-task, and ability to travel extensively in the Region.
