Job Description

Saint Elizabeth University is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Student Affairs division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive student health program that aligns with the American College Health Association guidelines and the university's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to students, including history taking, assessment, diagnosis, and planning of care.
  • Order testing as indicated, refer and follow up care, and coordinate care with Counseling Services and collaborating physicians.
  • Develop and update policies and procedures for Health Services, promote compliance with state health regulations, and collect data for the Immunization Report.
  • Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety for Medical Waste, Disposition, and Safety procedures and implementation.
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, facilitate the accomplishment and execution of medical and required tasks, and develop an annual report and budget.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant, or appropriate Clinical Degree (MD, DNP) is required.
  • New Jersey State License and Board Certification is required.
  • Experience seeing patients in a primary care setting and working in an evidence-informed practice.
  • 5 or more years of direct managerial experience, including supervising clinical and non-clinical staff and managing budgets.
