Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor - Lead Operations to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates during a specific shift and ensuring that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of associates: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and create work schedules to ensure that associates are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure that the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
  • Mentorship and Development: May act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the foodservice industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
