Environmental Services Technician - Afternoon Shift

  • Cleaning and Hygiene: Ensure that our facilities are kept clean and sanitized at all times.
  • Accountability: Handle equipment and uniforms responsibly while participating in sustainability efforts.
  • Safety and Training: Attend training sessions on safety practices and ensure the proper use of equipment and cleaning agents.
  • Adaptability: Be prepared to assist with various duties and support other teams as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills for communication and task tracking
  • Availability to work from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting and movement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles
  • Valid driver's license
  • Certifications in floor, carpet, or upholstery maintenance

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding and appreciation for diverse student backgrounds
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Self-driven and proactive attitude

Position Details:

Reports To: Director of Buildings, Maintenance and Grounds

Hourly Rate: $17.18/hr. + $0.75 shift differential

Shift: Afternoon shift, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Status: Full-time

Classification: Non-exempt
