Job Title: AR Representative

Envision Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AR Representative to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for working with insurance companies to perform insurance billing, review and verify accounts, and generate patient statements and other invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Follow up with insurance companies on submitted claims.
  2. Obtain status of payment via phone, email, or use of the website/portal.
  3. Appeal denied claims.
  4. Actively work Accounts Receivable to maintain acceptable days in A/R.
  5. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Patient Health Information (PHI) and follow HIPAA regulations.
  6. Identify billing trends, such as claim format, denials, and payment issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the Medical Billing field.
  • Knowledge of EOBs.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to continuously exceed company and customer expectations.
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
