Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients' functional status, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help patients achieve their goals. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and develop treatment plans to improve their independence and quality of life.
  • Provide occupational therapy to patients, including teaching new skills, retraining patients in daily activities, and fabricating splints and adaptive equipment.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
  • Participate in discharge planning and attend in-services, case conferences, and other meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
  • Possesses and maintains current CPR Certification.
Work Environment:

This is a part-time position with on-call and weekend responsibilities as needed. You will be working on the road, visiting patients in their homes.
