Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in the heart of East Ridge, Tennessee. Our hospital provides a full range of medical and surgical services, including orthopedics, robotic surgery, and a 24/7 Emergency Department.
We are seeking a highly skilled Freestanding Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. As an ER Nurse at Parkridge East Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess current RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Additionally, they will have ACLS and PALS certification within one year of employment and CPI certification within six months.

Job Responsibilities- Monitor, Record, and Report Patient Conditions: The ER Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients' symptoms and conditions, recording and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Develop Individualized Plans of Care: With a focus on providing personalized patient care, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized plans of care.
- Administer Medications and Maintain Accurate Records: As part of their responsibilities, the ER Nurse will administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care.
- Educate Patients and Families: To ensure comprehensive care, the successful candidate will educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team Members: Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the ER Nurse will provide support and collaborate to ensure seamless patient care.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$105,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
