About the PositionThis is a critical care advanced practice provider role in our well-established Cardiac Critical Care team at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with Cardiac Surgeons, Cardiologists, and Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Critical Care ICU and PCU settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Master's degree in Nursing (for Nurse Practitioners) or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
- Certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
The salary range for this position is $48.37 - $69.12 per hour, based on relevant experience.
