Position: Lead Software Engineer (Guidewire BillingCenter)

Location: Hybrid (Onsite)

Experience Required: 8+ Years

Role Overview:

  • Expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter for implementation and state rollout modifications.
  • In-depth understanding of BillingCenter configurations, including customizing billing methods, configuring invoice structures and functionalities, managing delinquency workflows, and customizing cancellation and reinstatement processes.
  • Proficient in working with SQL Server or DB2 databases.
  • Experience with third-party platform integrations.
  • Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, or JBOSS J2EE containers.

Essential Technical Skills:

  • 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter modules.
  • Proficient in Guidewire configuration and/or integration.
  • Experience in at least one complete end-to-end implementation.
  • Development experience using Guidewire Gosu proprietary code.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire APIs, methods, rules, and processes.
  • Knowledge of web services including WSDL, SOAP, XML, and REST.
  • Certification as a Guidewire BillingCenter professional.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP web services is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various code versioning systems such as SVN.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in direct customer interactions is a plus. Proficient in both written and spoken English.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target across all US locations. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as work location, job level, relevant skills, experience, and education.
