Overview

Ruhrpumpen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Regional Distribution Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion of our distribution channels in the West Coast region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growth and Development
    • Develop and implement strategies to grow the indirect sales channel and distribution segment.
    • Identify and evaluate new distributors to achieve sales goals.
  • Channel Management
    • Manage and support existing distributors to ensure they meet sales objectives.
    • Provide training and support to distributors to increase competency in Ruhrpumpen products.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, expenses, and market trends.
    • Provide regular reports to the North American Distributor Sales Manager on distributor sales performance and market conditions.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Maintain effective communication with distributors to discuss goals, performance, and market trends.
    • Collaborate with Market Managers to identify and develop new distribution channels.

Requirements

  • Travel and Availability
    • Willingness and availability to travel up to 60-70% of the time within the region.
  • Experience and Skills
    • At least 3 years' experience in pumps and related products.
    • Excellent understanding of the distribution sales channel and ability to support company growth.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
