Position Overview

MxD is seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and testing Sensor Kits and cabled sensors, following provided work instructions and Bill of Process documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
  • Prepare and label wires according to instructions
  • Assemble wires in the Sensor Kit
  • Perform basic soldering skills
  • Prepare sub-assemblies according to instructions
  • Follow basic programming instructions
  • Perform basic functional testing
  • Fabricate cabled sensors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience installing or maintaining PLCs preferred
  • Ability to work from designs, work instructions, and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
  • Experience with soldering preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
