Pediatric Sonographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Sonographer to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound studies, including M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies, as well as stress echocardiograms. You will work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.

• Perform cardiac ultrasound studies, including M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies, as well as stress echocardiograms.
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing technical skills and knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
• Maintain equipment function and safety policy and procedures.

• College or technical training program preferred.
• Apply a detailed knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
• Two to three years experience in Pediatric Echocardiography, preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
