Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing crisis care services in Hillsborough County. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a Primary RN to identify patient and family needs and coordinate interdisciplinary team provision of services under physician's orders.
Responsibilities- Utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and enhance the quality of life for the patient and family unit.
- Supervise and collaborate with Primary RN and/or CTM.
- Graduate of a licensed certified Practical Nursing program and at least 1 year of clinical experience.
- Maintain LPN license in accordance with State of Florida requirements.
- Certification: Valid CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Current IV Therapy certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients/families, providers, direct co-workers and peers.
- Excellent multi-tasking and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent typing and computer input skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (MS Outlook, Word, Excel), Suncoast Solutions preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance regulations.
