Position Overview
The Clinical Nurse Educator plays a pivotal role in providing guidance, clinical expertise, educational resources, program development, and consultation to foster clinical excellence within our organization.
This role employs analytical thinking and the nursing process to enhance patient outcomes and meet program objectives. Strong communication skills are essential for building effective working relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver immediate problem-solving support to enhance critical thinking capabilities.
- Exhibit advanced educational and instructional skills throughout the teaching and learning process.
- Oversee the creation of relevant materials to support staff education.
- Independently plan, develop, present, and assess educational initiatives in collaboration with the education department and departmental leaders.
- Design, implement, and evaluate training programs for both new and experienced preceptors.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
40 hours per week, Onsite
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- Specialization in Nursing Education is preferred.
- Experience in the Emergency Department is mandatory.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Preferred recent experience in hospital education and training.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
