Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography exams, including sub-specialty exams such as stress echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Image patients using two-dimensional and color Spectral Doppler and M-mode imaging techniques
  • Work independently, consulting with ordering or interpreting physicians as needed
  • Must have the ability to synthesize varying amounts of data related to the patient's medical history
  • Responsible for the patient's welfare during exams
  • Must be proficient in/or willing to cross train for vascular imaging
  • Ability to function in a high-stress, intensive environment
  • Must be able to operate HIS and CIS computers
  • Working knowledge of clinical emergency equipment
Requirements
  • 2-3 years full-time experience in a dedicated echocardiography laboratory preferred
  • Vascular experience preferred
  • RDCS/RCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer; ARMDS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer; CCI - Required
  • Certification as an RVT through the ARDMS, RVS through the CCI - Preferred
  • Meditech Expanse experience preferred
