Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer Lead to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As a Security Officer Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations and follow-up on security incidents, documenting all findings in a comprehensive report.
  • Perform proactive foot and vehicle patrols of the entire campus, including all floors and buildings, to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Respond promptly to all radio calls for a variety of services, including escorts, property pick-up, disturbances, standbys, and code calls.
  • Stay up-to-date on all required training, including CPI, PPCT, and computer courses, and receive mandatory flu shots annually.
  • Utilize camera systems to view and save footage as needed.
  • Operate the C-cure program to manage clearances and door locking.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with team members, visitors, and patients, adhering to department dress code.
  • Effectively de-escalate and maintain control in security situations.
