About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor Assistant to join our team at Walgreens. As an Internal Auditor Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting with financial, operational, and IT audits, as well as investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with audits in accordance with established policies and procedures, utilizing audit techniques to document and determine the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Participate in investigations, identifying risks and communicating findings to the audit team.
  • Prepare draft audit findings, including recommendations, for formal reports to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business management.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Internship experience in an analytical role.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.
