Beehive Industries is seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team in Englewood, Colorado. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating 3-axis and 5-axis CNC vertical machining centers and CMM equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operate CNC equipment, including 3-axis and 5-axis vertical machining centers and CMM equipment.
  • Develop machining fixtures for complex aerospace components.
  • Program CNC equipment on-line and off-line using SolidCAM or other CAD/CAM software.
  • Quote machining work for internal and external customers.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records of production work and results.
  • Uphold a high degree of work-area cleanliness and organization.
  • Explore opportunities to add value to the organization.
  • Perform preventative and proactive maintenance on various shop equipment.
  • Understand and identify EH&S hazards, risks, and controls of machine shop operations and activities at the site.
  • Ensure full compliance with EHS and Quality requirements.
  • Allocate tooling to be ordered for jobs.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of CNC machining experience in turbo machinery components.
  • Experience machining castings, forging, or 3D printed hardware using 5-axis CNC and EDM machines.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience in SolidCAM, MasterCam, or NX PowerMill.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong technical skills in GD&T and blueprints.
  • Strong experience with turning/lathes.
  • Some experience working with Heat Resistant Super Alloys (Nickel Alloys).
  • Experience with OKUMA and Makino multi-axis CNC equipment preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Exposure to working within a facility quality systems and codes (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
Physical Requirements:
  • Remain in a standing or sitting stationary position for 3-4 hours per day.
  • Move about 3-4 hours per day.
  • Frequently lift or carry objects between pounds.
  • Frequently push or pull objects between 26-45 pounds.
  • Frequently reach at or below shoulder level, and occasionally reach overhead.
  • Frequently use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, or twist.
  • Occasionally crouch, kneel, and squat.
  • Frequently keyboard.
  • Effectively communicate in person and via telephone or other electronic devices.
