Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiology ICU department at Children's Health (Dallas). As an Intensive Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of making life better for children.

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiology ICU, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will work closely with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring safe and effective treatment protocols
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
* Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex clinical scenarios
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements

* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
* BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association
* PALS/NRP/ACLS certifications (department-specific requirements)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric intensive care or a related field
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
