Position Summary:

As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate closely with contractors and government personnel to address client requirements and fulfill the outlined responsibilities. The Senior Consultant will engage directly with Process Owners and provide timely progress reports to document the advancement of deliverables. Additionally, the Lead Senior Consultant will support stakeholders (both external and internal) in formulating Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and conducting audit walkthroughs with External Auditors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting and distributing A2R Process Owner Meeting Minutes
  • Providing Weekly and Monthly Project Status Reports to the technical representative
  • Submitting Trip/Travel Reports as necessary
  • Assisting A2R stakeholders in preparing for and executing annual audit walkthroughs
  • Creating and delivering A2R-related audit remediation packets
  • Supporting Assessable Units (AU) stakeholders in developing, updating, and submitting Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to Audit PMO on a bi-monthly basis
  • Coordinating client stakeholder responses to Notices of Findings & Recommendations (NFR)
  • Assisting AU stakeholders in understanding and responding to Prepared-By-Client (PBC) requests within specified deadlines
  • Executing any requested audit testing as directed by the client (e.g., beginning balance)
  • Helping the client respond to periodic CFO fluctuation analyses
  • Designing and delivering A2R-focused training sessions for stakeholders as requested by the client
  • Developing and providing A2R process flowcharts, narratives, and testing procedures as required
  • Researching, documenting, and submitting accounting white papers to assist A2R stakeholders with historical or alternative value equipment assets
  • Delivering status reports and briefings to client leadership as necessary
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required
  • Experience in acquisitions within the Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) financial sector
  • Knowledge of audit readiness, internal controls, and OMB A-123 requirements
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with key stakeholders and process owners
  • Good understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) federal financial regulations, standards, and processes
  • Certification in Accounting or Financial Management is advantageous
