Role Summary

A Mixologist is tasked with crafting, blending, and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons at the bar and restaurant. This role demands a friendly, attentive, and prompt service approach to ensure an outstanding experience for all guests. The Mixologist will report directly to the Restaurant Manager and provide guidance to the Barback.

  • Creates beverages, serves wines and bottled beers, and taps draught beer from kegs
  • Engages with guests, takes orders, and serves snacks and drinks
  • Arranges bottles and glassware to create an appealing display and promote beverage offerings
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary bar area in compliance with health standards
  • Adheres to all food and beverage regulations
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Fundamental math and cash-handling abilities
  • Basic understanding of beer and wine
  • Strong communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Requirements
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Capability to remain stationary for extended periods, up to 8 hours
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and maintain mobility
  • Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in using draught systems, wine keys, and cash registers/Point of Sale systems

Note: Candidates should be prepared to provide proof of full Covid-19 vaccination upon hire.

The base compensation for this position is $16 per hour (with a $5.00 per hour tip credit), plus tips.
