Job Title: Live Event Audio Engineer

Livewire Entertainment Media Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Live Event Audio Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the audio aspects of our live events, ensuring that every show is a success.

Job Summary:

The Live Event Audio Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing audio systems for live events
  • Coordinating with clients, project managers, and technical directors to understand their vision and needs
  • Creating input/output plots and advance talent riders to ensure efficient event execution
  • Attending client meetings and working with venue contacts to determine power needs and costs
  • Assisting in scenic/layout design and determining the design and placement of audio components
  • Source and locate additional equipment for rental or purchase as needed
  • Working with the operations team to communicate budgetary needs and collaborating with other departments on the job site
  • Writing cue sheets and programming consoles for operation by other Livewire staff
  • Running cue-to-cue technical rehearsals and other duties as assigned
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience managing audio for high-stakes corporate keynote events
  • Familiarity with industry-standard audio equipment and software
  • Proven experience with industry standards in rigging/trussing applications and event power applications
  • Strong computer and Internet skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and possess a current driver's license or ability to get to/from the office easily
  • Authorized to work in the United States and able to drive a 26' box truck (non-CDL)
  • Trustworthy, self-motivated, and self-starting, with a positive attitude and ability to think critically and quickly on the job site

  • Annual pay determined on experience, with a range of $46,000-$76,500 DOE
