Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist III to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Competently perform MRI procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping orient other staff to the department
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist or ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT-Radiography certification
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • 5 years of basic clinical and practical experience as typically acquired in a similar environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to perform routine MRI examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing assignments and working within standardized operating procedures
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with varied shifts, including weekends. The salary range is $55.00 to $68.75 per hour, and the position is non-exempt. Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
