Radiation Oncology Specialist

Role Summary
The Dosimetrist serves as a member of the radiation oncology team with knowledge of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of the radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate radiation dose distributions and dose calculations in collaboration with the radiation oncologist.
- Design a patient radiation treatment plan by means of a 3D treatment planning computer utilizing optimal beam geometry that delivers radiation to the tumor site while sparing critical normal structures.
- Generate and transfer all technical documentation and plan parameters into the treatment preparation site and treatment delivery unit to assure accurate radiation treatment delivery is performed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 Year of Experience
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
