Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Team Leader to join our team at Arbon Equipment Corporation, a Rite-Hite Company. As a Technical Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of service technicians and installation specialists to ensure the effective installation, repair, and maintenance of loading dock and in-plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of service technicians and installation specialists to ensure the effective installation, repair, and maintenance of loading dock and in-plant equipment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to service technicians and installation specialists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the district sales force to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Arbon safety standards.
  • Develop and implement programs to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the District Service Manager and Installation Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have been certified to Level 3 in the ASAPP, and have successfully completed the other required training modules and certifications for the TTL role.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as good supervisory, clerical, and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and vibration.

The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; and extreme heat.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
