We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our care-focused environment, you will play a vital role in championing the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Management: Assist in training and monitoring of medication care administration to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with resident support services and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Clinical Quality Assurance: Lead and demonstrate the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living, promoting the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.
- Nursing Education: Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
- Licensure: Maintains a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
- Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to resident care; federal and state regulations.
- Assessment and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated knowledge of good assessment skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Communication and Leadership: Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to teach and guide team members to provide quality clinical care.
- Organizational and Time Management: Competent in organizational, time management skills, and demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications.
