Certification Requirements
  • AHA Certification: Required for all travelers, except Histology Techs; RQI is acceptable.
  • Renewal: Candidates with certifications expiring within 30 days of start must renew prior to commencement.
Position Overview
  • Work Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts, starting at designated time and on call until 7 AM the following morning.
  • Call Duty: Approximately 14 shifts within a six-week rotation, details to be discussed during the interview.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the field required.
  • Licenses: ARRT(R) radiology license and Ohio license required; must be obtained prior to starting.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Must have scrubbed in all interventional cath lab procedures as orientation is brief.
Schedule Details
  • Shift Structure: 4-10 hour shifts with on-call responsibilities.
  • Shift Frequency: Approximately 14 shifts over a six-week period.
Unit-Specific Information
  • Competency Exam: Unit-Specific Competency Exam required within 12 months of employment, updated annually.
Additional Information
  • ID Requirement: Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment.
  • For Subcontractors: Either a signed Lotus HIPAA form (preferred) or Core Testing is acceptable.
  • Module Completion: Always use Chrome on a computer for completing modules; mobile devices are not permitted.
