Job Title: Nursing Transportation Scheduler/Driver

Paramount Community Living and Rehab is a skilled nursing facility in Newton, Kansas, seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nursing Transportation Scheduler/Driver.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to schedule various appointments for residents and provide transportation to those appointments in a company-provided vehicle. As a Nursing Transportation Scheduler/Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of residents to their appointments, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments for residents and provide transportation to those appointments in a company-provided vehicle.
  • Accompany residents off campus and assist other staff on the nursing floor when not out on appointments.
  • Ensure the safe and timely transportation of residents to their appointments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Requirements:

  • Kansas CNA certification.
  • Valid Kansas driver's license in good standing.
  • Medical transportation experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
