Assembly Laborer

The Assembly Laborer is a key member of our manufacturing team, responsible for assembling components according to product specifications. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and overnight work.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare workstations by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisors to obtain additional resources.
- Maintain equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Manage supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Communicate daily with supervisors regarding potential issues.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure safety measures are followed to protect personnel and company property.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing quality and timely results.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to identify products that meet quality and productivity standards.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high-quality products.
- Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
- Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals.
- Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) plus.
This position requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to loud and noisy conditions. The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
