Sailboat Rigging Specialist

Eastport Spar & Rigging (ESR) is in search of a skilled sailboat technician with expertise in rigging. We are looking for a dedicated individual who thrives on overcoming challenges and exceeding client expectations within a collaborative setting. A background in sailing is essential, and we are open to training the right candidate. The rigging tasks will be performed on-site and at nearby marinas.

• Interpret plans, diagrams, and written instructions to execute assigned tasks.
• Commission sailboats, including stepping masts, retuning rigging, and reinstalling booms and sails.
• Conduct general maintenance on boats.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of marine technical experience is preferred.
• Experience with sailboats or knowledge of boating practices and safety is advantageous.
• Must possess reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
• Non-smoking candidates are preferred.

Job Type: Full Time / 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Compensation: $20 - $35 per hour based on qualifications; includes paid holidays, 5 personal/sick days annually, and 1 week of paid vacation after one year of service.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
