We are seeking a qualified Neurologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Virginia. This role involves providing clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

  • Shift Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Call Schedule: Weeknights and weekends
  • Call Ratio: 15%
  • Patient Load: Average of 8 outpatient and 3 inpatient patients per day
  • Patient Demographics: Adults only
  • Practice Composition: 50% outpatient, 50% inpatient; 5% trauma
  • Team Composition: 2 other neurologists and 1 advanced practice provider
  • Support Staff: 2 LPNs and 1 MA
  • Required Procedures: Radiologic Exam Interpretation, EEG, Brain Death Exam, EMG
  • Onsite Services: Lab & X-ray available
  • EMR System: Epic/Connect Care
  • Benefits: Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Qualifications:
  • Active Virginia Medical License
  • Board Certified
  • BLS Certification
  • Proof of Flu Vaccination
  • COVID Vaccination proof (preferred)
