Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week. Work hours and locations may vary based on operational needs and management requests.

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr. plus mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
  • Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screenings and paternity tests.
  • Accurately enter patient information in a timely manner.
  • Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required.
  • Travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited organization is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a phlebotomist is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
