The Facilities Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing the upkeep and functionality of Highway Horticulture, LLC's various facilities, including retail, cultivation, and processing sites. This position is essential for ensuring a secure and efficient working environment through diligent maintenance and oversight of equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of workspaces to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, partner protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Estimate budgetary needs for maintenance, supplies, and training related to facility operations.
  • Develop and present annual proactive maintenance plans for facilities and equipment to management.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Processing Operations to uphold and enhance safety initiatives.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and troubleshooting efforts for both equipment and the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant OSHA and MIOSHA regulations.
  • Manage safety reports and metrics for inclusion in monthly evaluations.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of equipment inventory and service history.
  • Coordinate complex repairs and warranty claims with external vendors and contractors.
  • Oversee contracts for snow removal, landscaping, and other facility maintenance services.
  • Repair and maintain building components such as lighting, windows, doors, and flooring.
  • Procure necessary supplies and materials to facilitate project completion.
  • Execute additional tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Relevant certifications and training in OSHA and MIOSHA standards.
  • Availability for on-call duties.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC systems.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
