Position Summary - COMSEC Policy Architect

We are in search of a driven COMSEC Policy Architect. The selected candidate will be tasked with the formulation and execution of policy revisions for our government clientele. This role necessitates close collaboration with government officials, key decision-makers, Warfighters, vendors, and fellow contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grasp the essentials of COMSEC components, including encryption, decryption, and key management, to develop thorough policy and enhancement proposals.
  • Implement cybersecurity technologies and best practices to protect National Security Systems (NSS) and National Security Information (NSI).
  • Devise a strategy to modernize COMSEC components to align with present and future security demands.
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish security requirements and performance benchmarks.
  • Design and deploy secure communication frameworks.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of legacy, current, and upcoming equipment.
  • Remain informed about advancements in cybersecurity and COMSEC technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to assist the government in the deployment of cybersecurity technologies across a government-wide enterprise.
  • Familiarity with pertinent regulations, including NIST Special Publications, FIPS, and NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16.
  • Experience collaborating with decision-makers and Warfighters to comprehend secure communication requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must possess a Top Secret Clearance.
