Job Title: Linux Database Administrator

Agile Defense is seeking a highly skilled Linux Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-availability database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy updates to high-availability environments
  • Maintain multiple environments, including platform and application management
  • Create software install packages
  • Contribute to RMF Assessment and Implementation
  • Provide data analysis and metrics to leaders around platform and application usage, trends, etc.
  • Provide expertise in automating services and innovative approaches for special projects and current ops
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience utilizing various database technologies
  • RHEL Linux DBA-based skills
  • MariaDB
  • PostgreSQL
  • Mongo DB
  • MS SQL Server 2016 & 2019
  • Oracle
  • Oracle Express
  • MYSQL
  • SQL Express
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years database administration
Working Conditions:

Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.

The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
