Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to work 1:1 with a high school student, providing accurate and clear interpretation services throughout the school day.
  • The successful candidate will support the student in understanding and participating in classroom activities and discussions, while collaborating with teachers and support staff to ensure the student's learning needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (or RID/NIC certification)
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred
  • Ability to effectively facilitate communication between the student, peers, and educators
