Job Summary

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Acute Care team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients in our hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations to determine the need for intervention.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve functional, measurable, and patient-related goals.
  • Provide skilled treatment in a safe and effective manner, assessing ongoing effectiveness and modifying plans as needed.
  • Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans according to professional practice guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an APTA-accredited school of Physical Therapy or equivalent.
  • Current Physical Therapy license within the State of practice.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ability to become proficient with computer software applications commonly used in an automated patient care environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
