Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team at AMR. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and transportation services in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Documentation and Confidentiality: Accurately document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to patient rights.
  • Environment and Equipment: Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients, and utilize EMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Community Programs: Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • License: State Driver's License
  • Certifications: National or State EMT-Basic certification, CPR/BLS certifications
  • Driving Record: Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • Physical Agility: Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Experience: Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
