Job Title: Independent Licensed Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Independent Licensed Therapist to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our Refresh Mental Health organization, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of patients to identify mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Rhode Island
  • At least 1 year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clear and active licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Rhode Island
  • 2+ years of clinical experience treating patients with behavioral health conditions
  • Hospital-based experience
  • Experience with health psychology and technology solutions
