Job Title: Cook - Weekend/On-Call

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cook to join our culinary team at Pride Institute in Eden Prairie. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals for our clients and facility staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals according to approved menu cycles and production sheets.
  • Comply with facility and departmental policies and procedures regarding food services.
  • Follow menus and recipes provided by the Dietary Supervisor, while adding personal flair to each meal.
  • Maintain a clean work area and dining room at all times.
Qualifications:
  • At least two years' experience in quantity cooking, or willingness to train good candidates with less experience.
  • Basic knowledge of modified diets and training in food service sanitation.
  • Experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Graduate from a formal school specializing in institutional cooking highly desirable.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and variable shifts, overtime, and flexible hours.
  • Must pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study and pass a UA drug test.
