Job Summary:
Britt Medical Search is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our team in Augusta, GA. As a member of our cardiology team, you will be responsible for providing excellent cardiovascular care in the outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients, including diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease.
- Manage chronic cardiovascular diseases, including ordering imaging or lab tests and recommending treatment plans as indicated by patient needs.
- Interpret lab tests, EKGs, chest x-rays, and echocardiograms accurately.
- Coordinate care with hospitalists, primary care physicians, and other specialty physicians to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Participate in quality management and risk management meetings to improve clinical quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
- Preferred experience with cardiac imaging in MR and CT.
